Along with other experiences, the Hotel offers a horseback ride through the Tomboli Natural Reserve to those who already have some experience in horseback riding. The pine grove covering the coast between Marina di Cecina and Marina di Bibbona spreads for around 15 km (9.3 miles) and is characterized by the “tomboli”, sand dunes covered by dense vegetation. The horseback ride follows designated paths and represents a unique occasion to discover the fragrances of the pine grove in Marina di Cecina.
For experienced horseback riders
The ride starts and finishes at the Cecinese Equestrian Centre, a 15-minute walk from the Palace Lido Hotel & Suites.
Riders older than 14 who have experience in horseback riding and horse caring are allowed to take part. Beginners are not allowed. There will be a preliminary interview with the instructor to evaluate the experience of each rider.
Horse boarding in Marina di Cecina
The pine grove in Marina di Cecina is accessible to the riders only during the off season and on days when there are no tourist crowds.
It is possible to ride on the beach only during permitted months.
